You can use the K20Z1 engine and transmission but the engine wiring harness and ECU are not compatible with our conversion wiring. You will need to use the 02-04 engine wire harness and ECU along with a speed sensor converter.
The K20A engine from the Euro Accord CL7 is similar, but not the same as the K20A from the DC5 or EP3. Because of that our typical engine mounts will not work since the transmission is like that from the TSX (K24A2) You’d have to use the Hasport EKK3 mount kit if you plan to use the K20A Euro engine and trans. You’ll also need to use the Accord shifter and shifter cables as well.
Jason, you can swap out the injectors and keep the OEM fuel pressure, however is isn’t going to work as well without actually retuning the car. You should use KPRO and have the fuel trim / injector size adjusted accordingly.
Hi Erwin, thanks for posting. You need to be sure you are loading a RACE / MAP sensor based map. If you do not, your car is going to run terrible and throw all kinds of engine lights. When you are loading the new calibration be sure to click the “show RACE calibrations” tab. It will display a list calibrations that have MAP sensor based fuel tables. That is what you need.
