Each throttle body is assembled with the throttle plate in the CLOSED position. If you are NOT using the factory IACV system, you may need to manually adjust the throttle plate stop to achieve the desired idle.

DO NOT ADJUST THE IDLE UNLESS YOU NEED TO. THE FACTORY IACV SYSTEM WORKS GREAT - WE SUGGEST USING IT.

To adjust the throttle stop, use an 8mm wrench and loosen the lock nut. A 2.5mm Allen is required to adjust the stop. Start the engine and monitor the idle. Slowly twist the screw to open the throttle plate. Once the desired RPM is met, torque the lock nut.
