    • Install the supplied gasket in the correct orientation. You can use a little silicone grease to condition the o-ring. Once the gasket is in place, install the block off plate and NPT plug into the body of the throttle body.

    • This will completely remove the IACV from the engine. You MUST disable the IACV control and set your idle manually. For manual idle adjustment, view step 3.

  2. To use this throttle body with a functional IACV but without the coolant pass through, you will need to install the supplied rubber cap and hose clamp and the 1/8th NPT block off plug. Note that the IACV and gasket are NOT included with this product and must be sourced separately.

  10. Each throttle body is assembled with the throttle plate in the CLOSED position. If you are NOT using the factory IACV system, you may need to manually adjust the throttle plate stop to achieve the desired idle. DO NOT ADJUST THE IDLE UNLESS YOU NEED TO. THE FACTORY IACV SYSTEM WORKS GREAT - WE SUGGEST USING IT.

    • To adjust the throttle stop, use an 8mm wrench and loosen the lock nut. A 2.5mm Allen is required to adjust the stop. Start the engine and monitor the idle. Slowly twist the screw to open the throttle plate. Once the desired RPM is met, torque the lock nut.

  11. Use the supplied 12mm screws to install the TPS to the throttle body housing. This throttle body was designed to work with OEM Honda & most aftermarket sensors. Because each brand TPS has a different calibration window (hall effect vs wiper, etc) it's highly recommended to use the engine management system to display the TPS value. In most cases, setting the TPS in the center of the bolt holes will get it very close. Use the center bolts as a starting position, then verify and calibrate in the ECU software if necessary. If you are NOT using an aftermarket engine management system, follow the OEM Honda TPS voltage value procedure.

  12. Install the throttle body gasket with the etching facing OUTWARD. The IACV provision should also locate at the bottom section of the manifold flange. Failure to align these parts can result in leaks. Use the 4 supplied bolts and secure the throttle body to the intake manifold. 13. No throttle body will have graphite sealing. Our newest design incorporates proper tolerances and geometry that allows the system to seal and function without sealant. This is normal. Do NOT add any sealant or film to the butterfly. The center shaft and mounting bolts are mechanically locked once they are installed. DO NOT LOOSEN THEM. If you try to remove them, you can damage the throttle body and the screws cannot be used again.

    • This product will work on the RBC and RRC intake manifolds. It does NOT fit any other manifold without modification. The Skunk2 intake manifolds do not have certain OEM sensor provisions, so be aware it may NOT work as intended.
