Once you have determined which pin to use, push it through the beating. Make sure you install it with the retaining ring on TOP.

The spacer is also part of the bushing and the shifter cable will require the spacer to be on the bottom. The laser-etched face is the top.

Once the spacer is locked into the bearing, you can now proceed with the installation.
