Begin by confirming that you have an OEM Honda B-Series shifter cable bracket. These are found on the B-Series AWD CRV transmissions.

Install the shifter cables through the bracket and use the supplied retaining pins to keep them secured to the gear selector.

Then, install the spring C clip securing the shifter cables to the transmission bracket.

The etching should be facing upwards. Do not install the shifter cable end link upside down or it can cause the inner tube to bend and it will permanently damage the cable.
