06-11 civic si cmc upgrade

I recently bought the cmc upgrade kit and used everything provided. I followed instructions and swapped the oem clutch rod into the new cmc and bled the system. I have 5 threads showing on the bottom on the cruise control switch and I adjusted the rod until little resistance and then half a turn back the other way. Clutch is engaging really high is this normal ?

It depends on many factors, including the life of your clutch.

If you are coming from all stock parts to installing the CMC kit, it is possible that it will move the engagement point. I suggest adjusting the rod to move the pedal down some, just be sure the slave cylinder is disengaging fully so the clutch does not slip.
