Use small (stepped) end of installation tool and rubber mallet to push internal Back-up Seal Sleeve (11365) through cylinder forcing seal and hoop out of other end of cylinder. Do not remove sleeve.

Turn cylinder over and, using non-stepped end of installation tool, push other seal out by tapping with a rubber mallet.

Visually inspect cylinder bore at both ends of cylinder. If the inside bore finish is blemished, remove backup sleeve and go to Step 3. If ID is good, proceed to Step 4.
