Unlocking the dipstick

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

To unlock the dipstick, place your fingers under the latch and rotate it upwards. Once the latch is up, you will feel the assembly loosen.

Grab the latch and pull upwards to remove the dipstick from the engine.

Do not pry or use tools to remove the dipstick.
