  3. Pull the ebrake handle up, as far as it will go. Remove the console cover. Remove the console cover.

  11. Remove the LH side shifter cable clip and slide the cable off the shifter pin. Rotate the shifter cable mount and slide it upward so it comes out of the shifter. Rotate the shifter cable mount and slide it upward so it comes out of the shifter.
    • Remove the LH side shifter cable clip and slide the cable off the shifter pin.

    • Rotate the shifter cable mount and slide it upward so it comes out of the shifter.

  12. Remove the four shifter base mounting bolts. Remove the four shifter base mounting bolts.
    • Remove the four shifter base mounting bolts.

  13. Rotate the shifter and remove the RH side shifter cable. This ball cup end link can be removed by spreading the metal clip apart.
    • Rotate the shifter and remove the RH side shifter cable.

    • Spread it apart and slide the cable downward.

  14. Unlock the shifter cable by depressing the clip with a flat tip screwdriver. Then rotate the shifter cable and slide it upward, removing it from the shifter base. Then rotate the shifter cable and slide it upward, removing it from the shifter base.
    • Unlock the shifter cable by depressing the clip with a flat tip screwdriver.

    • Then rotate the shifter cable and slide it upward, removing it from the shifter base.

  15. Remove the stock shifter cable from the chassis. Prepare the new Hybrid Racing shifter and reinstall the RH side shifter cable clip. Install the clip in the opposite way of the previous step.

    • Prepare the new Hybrid Racing shifter and reinstall the RH side shifter cable clip.

    • Install the clip in the opposite way of the previous step.

  16. Rotate and slide the shifter cables back into their respective locations. Use the supplied hardware and bolt the shifter base to the chassis. Use the supplied hardware and bolt the shifter base to the chassis.
    • Rotate and slide the shifter cables back into their respective locations.

    • Use the supplied hardware and bolt the shifter base to the chassis.

  17. Make sure your shifter cables are locked into place. Reinstall the LH side shifter cable and use the supplier cotter pin.

  18. Reinstall the factory wiring harness so it clips into the shifter base. Reinstall the factory wiring harness so it clips into the shifter base.

  19. Once the shifter is installed, you can install the shifter offset. This part can be positioned to your liking. Once you are satisfied with the location, tighten the offset so it does not rotate and the rod does not slide. This part can be positioned to your liking.   20. The installation is complete. You can now reinstall all of the factory console components in reverse order. You can remove the shift boot and leave the shifter exposed, or you can retain it and slide the boot over the rod. Shift through all gear and confirm everything is smooth and direct. If it's good, you are finished!
