  1. Begin by confirming that you have an OEM Honda B-Series shifter cable bracket. These are found on the B-Series AWD CRV transmissions. Install the shifter cables through the bracket and use the supplied retaining pins to keep them secured to the gear selector. Then, install the spring C clip securing the shifter cables to the transmission bracket.
