Begin by disconnecting the positive terminal battery, then remove the negative terminal.

Unbolt the battery tie-down bracket and remove it.

Remove the battery, heat shield and unbolt the lower battery tray.

Loosen the intake tube clamp, slide it off of the airbox and then unplug the MAF sensor.

Remove the wire harness from the airbox.

Unscrew the upper airbox lid. There are four screws that hold it in place.

Remove the lower airbox base by unbolting the 10mm mounting bolts.

Pull the airbox up and remove it from the engine bay.

Locate the reverse solenoid on the top of the transmission and unplug the green connector.

-
Locate both detent springs.
-
There is one on the front of the transmission gear selector and one on the side.
-
The one on the side is down near the base of the transmission mount.

Remove the detent bolt and spring and set aside.
-
-
-
Remove the wire harness mounting bolt on holding on the harness bracket.
-
Remove the detent bolt and spring and set aside.

-
Compare the stock springs with the HR springs. Incstall them accordingly into the bolts.

Reinstall both springs into the transmission.
-
Be sure to check and make sure you can shift into every gear without issue.

Reassemble the car following these steps in reverse.
