-
-
Remove the airbox by loosening the coupler and unbolting the airbox.

We are using an aftermarket airbox, so the OEM airbox and tube removal may differ slightly.
-
Unplug the MAF and move the wire harness out of the way.
-
-
-
Unclip the wire harness from the ECU bracket.
-
Unclip the wiring harness from the metal battery bracket.
-
-
-
Remove the 10mm bolts on the battery tray.
-
Remove the three larger bolts holding the battery tray to the shock tower.
-
Once the battery tray is unbolted, remove it from the car.
-
-
-
Remove the wire harness from the bracket on the front of the transmission.
-
-
-
Install the new HR detent spring and re-install into the transmission.
-
-
-
Reinstall the detents in the transmission and make sure you can row through all of the gears before moving forward.
-
Once everything feels good, reinstall all of the parts that were removed.
-
Since the battery was disconnected, the car will throw a ton of warnings when it is turned on. Just drive the car around for a little while, stop, turn the ignition off, then turn the car on again and it should all be cleared. If the warnings are still present, repeat those steps.
