Step Lines
+ | [* 1] Check the gap in the pedal stop. |
---|---|
+ | [* 1] If the gap is between 1mm - 3mm, continue to step 21. |
+ | [* 1] If the gap is larger, do not continue. Check that the CMC is mounted correctly to the firewall and all bolts are tight. Make sure the lock nut on the clevis is tight. If it is NOT, please contact support@hybrid-racing.com and do not continue the installation. |
+ | [* 1] If the clevis nut is tight and you need to adjust the pedal stop-gap, loosen the lock nut on the pedal. |
+ | [* 1] Pull the pedal away from the wirewall and turn the bolt until it touches the rubber stop. Then, turn an additional 1 time. |
+ | [* 1] Tighten the lock nut to set the stop position. Recheck the pedal switch interference. |
+ | [* 9] If the pedal stop is not correct, this could prevent the car from starting; it can also prematurely wear the clutch disc due to improper adjustment. |
