2002 Accord K24 in a 1998 EK Chasis

Hi Hybrid Racing Team,

I’m planning a K-series swap into a 1998 Civic EK using a 2002 Honda Accord K24A automatic engine.

I have a few questions before I order parts:

  1. Auto K24 Compatibility
    • For an automatic-equipped 2002 Accord K24A (A4), do you recommend any specific changes or parts for manual swap compatibility (besides the transmission and mounts)?
    • Are there known issues with using the auto motor harness or sensors on a manual swap?
  2. Preconfigured Wiring Harness
    • Do you offer a preconfigured plug-and-play wiring harness designed to work with an Accord K24A from an automatic car into a manual-swapped EK chassis?
    • If not, can you recommend a harness option (Rywire, HR, or other) that integrates cleanly with your engine management solution?
  3. ECU / Engine Management Recommendations
    • Which ECU/harness combination do you recommend for the Accord K24 that’s easiest for a manual swap and future tuning (street/daily)?
    • Is wiring for a Hondata KPro ECU supported/configurable through your wiring options?
  4. Optional Sensors / Adapters
    • Are there any sensors, actuators, or adapter harnesses needed (crank, cam, VSS, TPS, etc.) to make the auto K24 engine run correctly on a manual swap with your harness?
  5. Support & Documentation
    • Do you have wiring diagrams or pin-outs for your harness solutions specific to this swap scenario?

Thanks in advance,
Josh
