Introduction
Important!! Please read the entire install guide twice before starting your installation. No really, it’s a good idea to read it twice before you begin so everything goes smooth.

First start by removing the plastic cover under the radio by pulling at the bottom corners.

Unplug the connector from the aux power port and remove the cover.

-
Loosen your shift knob and remove.
-
-
-
Unclip the center console cover by pulling straight up under the front by the shifter boot side.

Once unclipped, remove the center console cover and place it off to the side.

-
Slide the center console slider forward and remove the cup holder.
-
-
-
Using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the (2) screws closest to the front of the car.
-
-
-
Using the same Phillips head screw driver remove the next set of screws just below the first ones in front of the shifter.
-

-
Again, using the same Phillips head screw driver remove the next set of screws just behind the shifter.
-
-
-
Slide both front seats forward to reveal the final (2) screws holding the center console in. Using the same Phillips head screw driver remove each screw.

Reach behind the front lower side on each side of the center console and pull gently to unsnap it
-

-
Lift up on the back side of the center console and unplug the rear aux power connector.

-
Remove the center console and place it in the back seat.
-
NOTE: it is easiest to pull it out of the way if the hand brake is the upright position.

Use a small flat head screwdriver and bend the cotter pins straight, remove both cotter pins securing the cable end links to the shifter and pull them off the shifter.

Using a larger flat head screwdriver, pry off of the shifter to rotate the cable base out of the shifter and remove it from the shifter.

Again using the same flat head screwdriver, pry off the C-clip and slide the cable up out of the shifter.

Using 12mm socket and ratchet, remove the (4) M8 mounting bolts on the base of the shifter and remove the shifter from the car (FIG 16).

NOTE: There may be some wires clipped to the shifter, be sure to remove them before pulling the shifter out.

Rotate the left cable base into the HR shifter in a clockwise motion as illustrated in the first image.

Once installed corrected it should appear as the one in the 2nd image.

NOTE: The shifter is not mounted to the car yet, this is because it is much easier to install the cables first so please wait to mount the shifter until a later step.

Next slide the right side cable into the shifter (1st picture) and install the C-clip to secure the cable (2nd picture).

Slide (1) of the plastic washers supplied with the shifter on the left side shifter arm, then slide the left side shifter cable endlink onto the shifter arm (1st image).

Secure the cable with another plastic washer and clip supplied with the shifter (2nd image).

Repeat step 19 for the right side shifter cable.

Using the (4) M8 bolts, (4) flat washers, and a 6mm allen key, mount the shifter to the center tunnel.

Slide the offset with the upper shifter arm attached, onto the lower shifter arm on the shifter. Adjusted where desired and tighten in place with a 5mm allen key.

Now with the shifter install complete, follow steps 1-12 in reverse to reinstall the interior pieces that were removed to install the shifter.

Once the interior pieces are back together, screw the shift knob onto the upper shifter arm.

Now your Hybrid Racing short shifter is ready for use!
